Justice League (2017) Coming Soon
Justice League is a rising American superhero movie based on the eponymous DC Comics superhero team, consisting of Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg. The film, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, will become the fifth installment of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The film is directed by Zack Snyder with a script by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon based on a story by Terrio and Snyder and features an ensemble that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller and Jason Momoa. Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen and JK Simmons. In the Justice League, the superhero team is forming to honor Superman after his death and save the planet from the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.
The film was announced in October 2014 with Snyder on board and Terrio connected to the script. Initially announced as Justice League Part One to follow with a second installment in 2019, the second film was postponed indefinitely to accommodate a stand-alone Batman movie starring Affleck. Shooting began in April 2016 and ended in October 2016. Snyder hired Joss Whedon to write scenes shot during the shoot. However, Snyder left the project in May 2017 after the death of his daughter.
Whedon was hired to supervise the rest of the post production, including directing additional scenes he had written himself. Snyder received the sole directing credit for the film, Whedon received a screenplay credit in the post. With an estimated production cost of $ 300 million, the film is one of the most expensive ever. Justice League is expected to be released on November 17, 2017 by Warner Bros. Pictures in the US in 2D, 3D, and IMAX.
