Radha Mitchell Stunning Hollywood Actress

Radha Rani Amber Indigo Ananda Mitchell (born November 12, 1973) is an Australian actress. She began her career in various Australian TV series and films and later appeared in Hollywood films such as Pitch Black, Telephone Booth, Finding Neverland, Man on Fire, Melinda and Melinda, Silent Hill and The Crazies.

Starting Life
Mitchell was born in Melbourne. Her mother is a model fashion designer and her father is a filmmaker. The couple divorced when she was young. Her first name Radha (Sanskrit -  prosperity, success) comes from the Hindu goddess of the same name. The other parts of her name that come from Indian origin are Rani (queen) and Ananda  ( joy). She writes her name as a "creative by-product" of her mother's experiences exploring Indian spirituality in the 1970s. She attended St. Michael's High School in St. Kilda and graduated in 1992.

Professional Life
Mitchell began her career in the lead role in ABC TV's Sugar and Spice in 1988. In 1994 she played a guest role in Neighbors and later returned to the regular role of Catherine O'Brien from 1996 to 1997.

In 1997 she starred in two films, High Art and Everything Put Together, both winners of the Independent Spirit Award. Other films - including Pitch Black vs. Vin Diesel, Phone Booth vs. Colin Farrell and Man on Fire vs. Denzel Washington - soon followed.

Mitchell was recognized for her performance in the Oscar-winning Finding Neverland starring Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet. This performance earned the cast a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Outstanding Cast in a movie.

Mitchell then took over the title roles in Woody Allen's Melinda and Melinda (2004), along with Chloë Sevigny, followed by a part with Josh Hartnett in Mozart and the Whale, and then starred in the filming of the video game Silent Hill. Laurie Holden and Sean Bean. Although the horror movie received mixed reviews from critics, it opened the number one spot at the box office with over $ 20 million in box office sales. In 2008, Mitchell starred in Rogue with Michael Vartan, and Henry Poole is opposite Luke Wilson and The Children of Huang Shi opposite Jonathan Rhys-Meyers.

For her role in Claire McCarthy's The Waiting City, Mitchell was awarded Best Actress in October 2010 at the Antipodes Film Festival in St Tropez, France.


In 2013, Mitchell starred in the ABC drama series Red Widow, and appeared, alongside Gerard Butler, in the action-thriller movie Olympus Has Fallen
